You’ll find those top-paying MMAs at:

GMAC Bank with no minimum deposit or balance.

AmTrust Direct, the online division of AmTrust Bank in Cleveland, Ohio, with a $25,000 minimum deposit.

OneWest Bank, formerly IndyMac Federal Bank, with a $1,000 minimum deposit. (This deal is only available online. If you go to a OneWest branch in California you’ll only earn 1.0% with a $25,000 minimum deposit.)

    Who has AmericanNet Bank MMA account? Please check MMA interest rate in your account. My account $30,000 shows only 0.99% interest rate, not 2% like they said. Is it a scam?

    Why do you leave Nationwide Bank off your list? Rated four stars by Bankrate.com, they’re currently paying 2.15% APY.

    Nothing against Nationwide Bank. But, as you point out, it’s paying 2.15%. Our top-paying MMAs are all paying 2.25%.
