The top nationally available 60-month CD rate on our CD Rates Leaderboard has been 1.85% APY since Valentine’s Day.
You have to be a member of New England Federal Credit Union to purchase these certificates of deposit. Anyone who lives, works or attends school in the Vermont counties of Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille or Washington is eligible to join.
Membership requires opening an account, which a CD satisfies.
Members can buy CDs over the phone, online or in person at one of the credit union’s branches in Burlington, Essex Junction, South Burlington and Williston.
