TotalBank Now Has Top 6-Month CD, Too

TotalBank has led our rankings of the best 3-month CD rates since June — which has got to be some sort of record.

Now the bank, which has 16 branches in the Miami area, is also offering the top-return on 6-month certificates of deposit.

As recently as October savers could still earn 2.00% APY from the best nationally-available deals.

But by last month that was down to 1.75% APY and now TotalBank’s 1.65% APY — which is the same as it’s paying on its top 3-month CDs — is as good as we can find for 6-month CDs.

At least the minimum deposit is a reasonable $1,000.
