Texas Deal: CD Rates Top Out At 2.50%

$100 bills fanned outSan Antonio’s Select Federal Credit Union is celebrating its 75th anniversary with bonus CD rates on four certificates.

With a $500 minimum deposit of new money, it pays an extra quarter of a percent, or:

  • 2.50% APY for 60-month CDs.
  • 1.75% APY for 36-month CDs.
  • 1.45% APY for 24-month CDs.
  • 1.35% APY for 12-month CDs.

While there isn’t a bad apple in the bunch, we’re especially fond of that 60-month deal, which beats the top nationally available offer on our CD Rates Leaderboard by a fifth of a percentage point.
