CD Rates Fly High At Wings Financial CU

Enjoy top CD rates in 3 terms with a $500 minimum depositWings Financial Credit Union has improved on the CD rates we reported earlier this year, offering top yields in three terms we track.

With a $500 minimum deposit, it’s paying:

  • 1.81% APY on 24-month CDs.
  • 2.07% APY on 36-month CDs.
  • 2.73% APY on 60-month CDs.

Each of those yields beats the best nationally available deal for its term on our CD Rates Leaderboard. And Wings’ 24-month rate is more than three-tenths of a percentage point better than the top nationally available deal.

While these rates aren’t national, membership in Wings Financial Credit Union — which caters to airline employees — is open to more people than a typical credit union.

With a $30 minimum deposit, you can join if:

  • You live or work in metropolitan Seattle-Tacoma.
  • You live or work in metropolitan Minneapolis-St. Paul.
  • You work for or retired from the air transportation industry, including dozens of airlines.
  • You are related to someone who works for the air transportation industry.

For full eligibility requirements, visit Wings Financial’s website (www.wingsfinancial.com).

Members can buy these certificates of deposit over the phone, online or in person at one of the credit union’s 25 branches throughout the country.

Wings Financial has branches in California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Tennessee and Washington.

Compare these returns with the best CD rates from scores of banks in our extensive database.
