Special Odd-Term CDs Available To All

Dollar signXceed Financial Credit Union has two strong odd-term CD rates – and anyone can take advantage of them.

With a $500 minimum deposit, it pays:

  • 1.25% APY for 19-month CDs.
  • 1.00% APY for 7-month CDs.

Both beat their corresponding terms on our CD Rates Leaderboard, where the 6-month lead rate is 0.90% APY and the 12-month lead rate is 1.10% APY.

That 19-month rate actually ties the 24-month lead rate.

You have to be a member of Xceed Financial Credit Union to buy these certificates of deposit. Anyone can join by first becoming members of one of six organizations listed on the website.

The least expensive is the Friends of the Webster Public Library, which supports the community library in Webster, N.Y., and has a membership fee of just $8, or $5 if you’re older than 60.

You don’t have to take this step if you live in Carrollton, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Irving or Lewisville, Texas; greater Rochester, N.Y.; Bensenville, Elk Grove Village or Rosemont, Ill.; San Jose, Calif.; or St. Petersburg, Fla.

Employees and retirees of the credit union’s many select employer groups, including Allstate, Xerox and Office Max, can also join.

Membership in Xceed Financial Credit Union requires a $5 deposit in a share savings account.

Members can buy CDs online, over the phone or in person.

Xceed Financial Credit Union has 15 branches in El Segundo, Mountain View, Norwalk and San Jose, Calif.; Norwalk, Conn.; Naperville, Ill.; Parsippany, N.J.; Rochester and Webster, N.Y.; and Lewisville, N.J.

You can still get this 19-month rate at Xceed, but the 7-month offer has expired.
