Philadelphia Deal On 37-Month CDs

It pays 1.60% APY with a $500 minimum deposit.

That’s nearly a tenth of a percentage point higher than the top nationally available 36-month CD rate on our CD Rates Leaderboard.

But act fast – this special is scheduled to expire on March 31.

You have to be a member of Sb1 Federal Credit Union to purchase these certificates of deposit. Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in specific ZIP codes of Philadelphia south of Lehigh Avenue can join, as well as employees and retirees of the credit union’s select employer groups.

A list of those ZIP codes and groups is on the website.

Membership is also open to relatives and household members of current members.

A $5 deposit in a share savings account is required for membership.

Members can buy CDs through the mail or in person at one of the credit union’s branches in Philadelphia, Collegeville, King of Prussia, Norristown and West Norriton.
