North Carolina Deal On 15-Month CDs

North Carolina quarterSavers in North Carolina’s coastal region should check out Providence Bank’s special 15-month CD rates.

It pays 1.15% APY with a $1,000 minimum deposit.

That’s a tenth of a percentage point higher than the top nationally available 12-month CD rates on our CD Rates Leaderboard.

And although we’re tracking six banks that pay more than 1.00% APY for the Leaderboard, 12-month CD rates are – for the most part – stagnant.

You don’t have to be a resident of North Carolina to buy one of Providence Bank’s certificates of deposit, but you have to do so in person.

There are three branches: Two in Rocky Mount, on Sunset and Winstead avenues, and a third on Main Street in Tarboro.

Learn more about Providence Bank at or call 252-937-3077.

See how these returns compare with the best CD rates from scores of banks in our extensive database.
