Chetco Federal Credit Union was founded in November, 1957 with the mission of helping people. It is a non-profit financial institution which is owned by its members. It provides financial services to the families who are living or working in Del Norte, Curry and Coos Counties. It started as a small organization who operated out of the trunk of a car. It has progressed and developed since then. Presently it has a membership of over 28,000 members and is still growing with eleven branch offices including three High School branches.
