Lifestyles Of The Rich And Crooked

Take a few minutes to peruse Bernie Madoff’s American Express bill from January 2008.

Cards on this account were provided to all of his family members and top business associates, and they put them to lavish use.

The bill documents their expensive dining, shopping and travel in exceptional detail — all paid for with money stolen through Bernie’s $50 billion Ponzi scheme, of course.

Total expenditures for just one month, on just this one account: $100,121.99.

Ruth must have felt bad. She gave $11,200 to charity.
