Iowa Deal: 5-Year CDs Pay Up To 2.12%

This Iowa credit union pays:

  • 2.07% APY with a $10,000 minimum deposit.
  • 2.12% APY with a $50,000 minimum deposit.

The top nationally available 5-year CD rate on our CD Rates Leaderboard is 2.02% APY, which matches what Collins Community Credit Union pays with a $1,000 minimum deposit.

You have to be a member of Collins Community Credit Union to purchase these certificates of deposit. Anyone who lives or works in Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Delaware, Iowa, Jones, Johnson, Keokuk, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine and Washington counties can join.

A $5 deposit in a share savings account is required for membership.

Members can buy CDs online, over the phone, through the mail or in person at one of the credit union’s nine branches in Cedar Rapids, Marion and North Liberty.

    Collins has already dropped these 60-month rates. It pays 2.07% APY with a $50,000 minimum; 2.02% APY with a $10,000 minimum; and 1.96% APY with a $1,000 minimum.
