Good CD Rates For Mississippi Residents

All Mississippians can take advantage of the strong 60-month CD rates at Mississippi Telco Federal Credit Union.

It pays 2.27% APY with a minimum deposit of $1,000.

The top nationally available 60-month CD rate on our CD Rates Leaderboard hasn’t seen a yield that high yet this year.

The current leader, the New York branch of the State Bank of India, pays just 1.86% APY — more than fourth-tenths of a percentage point less.

Mississippi Telco Federal Credit Union also offers above Leaderboard CD rates for two other terms, but they’re not quite as amazing.

It pays 1.51% APY for 30-month CDs, which is nearly a tenth of a percentage point higher than the current 36-month lead rate of 1.42% APY.

And it offers 1.31% APY for 24-month CDs. The nationally available rate for that term is 1.25% APY.

Both require a minimum deposit of $1,000 as well.
