Get $150 Cash Back With Chase Cards

Credit card rewards have always been a great way to entice new customers, and Chase seems to be doing the lion’s share of the work these days.

Freedom Visa and Chase Sapphire offer these rewardsThe company previously launched $100 cash-back offers on both its Freedom and Sapphire cards. Those offers stand at $150 each.

Here’s a closer look at both cards and why Chase has quickly become my favorite credit card issuer.

Chase Freedom Visa — $150 Bonus Cash Back The Chase Freedom Visa continues to shine as the best cash-back credit card, now offering new cardholders $150 cash back. You must spend $500 within the first three months, a relatively low amount.

You also will earn 5% cash back on rotating categories throughout the year and 1% cash back on all other purchases.

The purchase APR on the Chase Freedom Visa is a variable 11.99% to 22.99% (prime rate plus 8.74% to 19.74%), depending on your credit history.

The $150 is yours to keep once you meet the initial spending obligation, and you’ll never repay it in annual fees, because this card doesn’t have one.

Chase Sapphire — The Chase Sapphire is the staple travel rewards card of the Chase brand, offering cardholders 15,000 points after spending $500 during the first three months. Those points can be redeemed for $150 in cash back or even more when using them to redeem travel, as points are worth 25% more.

Cardholders earn two points for every dollar spent on airfare and hotel reservations when they book through the Chase Ultimate Rewards program and one point for every dollar spent on all other purchases.

The purchase APR is 13.24% variable, which is extremely low for a travel rewards credit card. Chase Sapphire has no annual fee.

I carry both cards and use them for each and every purchase I make, which has saved me thousands.
