I live in Michigan and bank with Flagstar and while they are a pretty good bank for service and fees they do wierd CD moves. I can't get their internet cd rate by walking into the bank. One rate for internet and one for branches. I can very easily get .05% above any local banks rate as a loyalty customer. Usually that will get me into the competitive range. Great questions.
