Monique, visit http://www.bankrate.com. They list the high paying interest bearing accounts there. Your banker or broker should be able to point you in the right direction as well.

I have 15,000 that I would like to deposit into a high interest savings account, CD, or money market. Which one would you suggest and with what company?

My father died in 2005. Because of the recent months of stockmarket we are in the process of transferring mainly stocks from one bank to another to be established into trusts. Depending on what the stocks current value I have a decision to make. Whether to keep them in the same stocks or sell them off and claim the losses. Not sure what to do. I’m am sure it is considerably less than the original value and it has been 3 years and one month since his death.
