Top 6-Month CD Yield Drops To 0.92%

After more than a year offering a 6-month return of 1.05% APY, which became the top nationally available yield on our CD Rates Leaderboard, My Savings Direct has bowed out.

That leaves TAB Bank in the top spot, offering the new, lower lead return of 0.92% APY.

TAB Bank, formerly Transportation Alliance Bank, was established to provide financial services to the transportation industry. It now offers an array of online business and personal banking services and is based in Ogden, Utah.

It requires a minimum deposit of $1,000 for its certificates.

Banks qualify for our rankings by imposing no restrictions on who can buy their certificates of deposit, either online or through the mail.

Compare these returns with the best CD rates from scores of banks in our extensive database.
