Hello! I can put in a good word for the BofA deal. I helped my dad open up an account awhile back (though at the time the bonus was $75, and not $50) and it was very easy to do.

If you know someone who already has a BofA account (and if you are looking, I am always available ), you can also add the “Refer a friend” deal as well. The bank might drag its feet a little, but it got both me and my father an extra $25 each on top of the $75 bonus. $125 was a nice and tidy bonus!

The other nice thing is that you can open the account both online, or just bring the promotional code to the branch for those out there who prefer doing their banking in person.
