Earn 2.65% With The Best 2-Year CD Rates

This summer’s highest yields on 24-month certificates of deposit wouldn’t have made it into our top three just a couple of months ago.

But they still pay significantly more than the national average of 1.47% APY for 24-month CDs — and you’ve got to earn more than that.

    TO Whomever,
When they promised the babyboomers good returns on sav bonds, etc, they were paying, on average, 6.- 8% . No wonder I’m broke at 2%.The investments didn’t make anything. Maybe, someone ought to define “slow growth” as opposed to inflation on borrowed debt. If businesses can borrow at 2%why can’t they pay me anything. CEO’s stuffed their own pockets until all of us were broke. Where were you Boards of Directors that approved of all this?? To make a stock offering used to be one way to raise capital. Do you think that you have that option now? PJanine
