Theses CD rates are second only to the 2.50% APY offered by Tennessee Commerce Bank in Franklin, Tenn., for a 24-month certificate of deposit with a $2,500 minimum deposit.

    WebBush Bank is not paying 2.48% on 24 mth CD’s as stated by your website. Don’t publish this information if it isn’t true………….

    Wedbush Bank lowered its rate last Friday, as so many banks are doing right now. When we published the rate on Sept. 1, the 2.48% APY was available.

    The lesson here is: If you see a great rate, jump on it because there’s no telling how long it will last — unless it’s a special with a definite closing date.

    All banks publish something like this on their Web sites: “Programs (including, without limit, fees, rates and features) are subject to change without notice.” This one appears on the Wedbush site.
