Denver Credit Union Offers 2.35% CD Rate

Denver Community Credit Union pays its top rate with a $50,000 minimum deposit.Denver Community Credit Union’s 60-month CD rates are good for all savers, but even better if you have a significant amount to invest.

It pays:

  • 2.10% APY with a $100 minimum deposit.
  • 2.35% APY with a $50,000 minimum deposit.

The 60-month term on our CD Rates Leaderboard hasn’t seen 2% since Jan. 5.

Since mid-June, the top nationally available 60-month CD rate has held at 1.91% APY, which is an offering of The National Republic Bank of Chicago.

You have to be a member of Denver Community Credit Union to purchase these certificates of deposit. Membership is available to those who live or work in Denver, Adams or Arapahoe counties, as well as members’ families.

Employees and retirees of the city and county of Denver, and its authorities, can also join.

Membership requires a $25 deposit into a savings account and a $5 membership fee.

Members can buy CDs over the phone, online or at a branch. There are three locations in Denver.

    Denver Community CU is now paying 2.10% APY on its 60-month CD with a $50,000 minimum deposit and 1.85% APY with a $100 minimum.

    Denver Community has dropped its rates:

    60-month now pays 1.90% APY with $50,000 minimum and 1.65% APY with $100 minimum.
