I don’t quite understand the denial, but oh well. only interested if they gave me no AF and the 14.99% interest. I did close 1 CC when they tried to up my rate earlier this year maybe that did it. I still have 4 CCs with an avg CL of 2500 each but only 10% utilz. was at around 5% utiz. until I closed my BofA CC. Bofa tried to hike my rate up almost an additional 10% after 5 years of perf pay history with them. Thats why I paid it off and closed it – a principle thing!!!

When you close your accounts your points go down about 4-5 points. So closing just lowers your credit. If you are paying cash than it doesn’t matter about credit unless you are trying to buy something on credit. Credit companies also don’t like the people that pay off their cards.. even though we get points for that.. they eventually will close or lower credit card. I have had that happen also and that lowered my credit rating also. Damn if I do damn if I don’t is what I say. I pay them off they lower my credit, I pay on time they lower my credit .. I think it is getting to be a game ..
