"Business purchases" aren't defined. As far as I can tell, there are no category restrictions. However, the 5% reward rate only applies to purchases above $2000 and below $2500 each month. The first $2000 gets you 1%, and purchases beyond $2500 net 1.25%. So your total rewards will always be in the 1% to 1.8% range. Never higher.
