Colorado Deal: 5-Year, 2.02% CD Rates

It pays 2.02% APY with a minimum deposit of $5,000.

That’s more than a fifth of a percentage point higher than the top nationally available 5-year CD rate on our CD Rates Leaderboard.

You have to be a member of Red Rocks Credit Union to purchase these certificates of deposit. Membership is available to those who live, work, worship or attend school in Douglas County; employees of Lockheed Martin; and members’ families.

You can also become a member by first joining the nonprofit Consumers United Association, which is open to all Colorado residents for a $5 annual fee.

Membership at Red Rocks Credit Union requires a $5 deposit in a share savings account.

Members can buy CDs online, over the phone or in person. There are two branches, one in Highlands Ranch and the other in Waterton, which is accessible only by Lockheed Martin employees.
