Chase Checking Account $100 Bonus

Here’s another chance to get a cash bonus when you open a Chase Checking account.

This offer isn’t quite as good as the $150 Chase Bank bonus we wrote about a couple of weeks ago.

Chase Checking BonusBut you don’t need a hard-to-find “coupon code” to take advantage of this deal.

Just open a new checking account, make a minimum deposit of $100 and sign-up for direct deposit or make five debit card purchases within the first 60 days.

The $100 will be added to your account.

You’ll also be able to use any of Chase and Washington Mutual’s 14,000 ATMs for free — which has to be a big advantage to having a Chase checking account.

This offer is open to residents of all states except California.

To qualify for a $100 bonus out there, you’ve got to open a Washington Mutual Free Checking account. (Chase bought WaMu last year.)

The bonus expires on June 16 at Washington Mutual and June 23 at Chase.

    This is a bogus bonus alert. Chase requires a coupon code for all bonus offers.

    There’s nothing bogus about this Chase offer. If you click on the Chase Checking link in the first sentence you’ll get a screen that says:

    “Or get a $100 coupon e-mailed to you and open your Chase CheckingSM account at a local Chase branch. Send me the coupon >>

    Click on: Send me the coupon, put your email address in the box on the screen that comes and in less than 10 seconds you’ll get the coupon and the coupon code by return email. We just did it.

    With coupon in hand you can apply at your nearest Chase Bank or you can apply online.

    Chase’s previous deal was a mailer sent to a specific person, so the code only worked once. This offer is open to anyone who wants it.

    You can get the code for the $125 when you open a checking account with direct deposit at Chase at the bank or online. It expires 9-30-09. The coupon is in the Post Office movers guide change of address kit thats free at the Post Office! If you dont see it, ask for one.

    This offer is B.S. I filled out the application last night and when I was finished, a window came up that said, “we are having trouble with our system, your application did not go through, try back again tomorrow.” When I went on the site today and pressed the “apply now” orange button, nothing happen. I just spent 47 minutes on the phone with dozens of different CSRs all of whom were dumber than the next, only to finally discover that if the site were actually working, I would still need A PROMOTIONAL CODE. I do not have a PROMOTIONAL CODE and the site does not say that i need a PROMOTIONAL CODE. FALSE FALSE advertising. Waste of my time. Really unfriendly and ineffective CSRs. FYI I am in Cali so I had to use the WAMU site. Maybe other states using Chase are having a better experience.

    This works. The directions are just a little off. You must have the coupon code emailed to you for use at the end of the application process. Worked fine for me. Thanks guys.

    You’re right, Sheila. When you open the coupon link you then have to click on “Send me the coupon.” When we did it, it came back in less than a minute. We’re glad it worked for you.

    This coupon says$125.00 from chase. Direct deposit and new account. The coupon has a code on it.

    When I signed up for a Wamu account a couple of months ago, I signed up hastily and didn’t put the full amount that qualifies you for the $100 bonus.

    I did nothing else with the account, except for one purchase and one deposit, and I check my account two days ago, and I received a $100 bonus! I checked to see if I actually qualify, but I don’t, so this is interesting.

    I’m not complaining!

    For the 125 it’s 3531354000895732, but you need to setup direct deposit. Offer expires 10/09. I just called and set it up. This one works.
