1.22% APY at Aurora Bank (, which has branches in Wilmington, Del., and Jersey City, N.J., and requires a $1,000 minimum deposit.

1.22% APY at Ascencia Bank (, the online division of PBI Bank in Louisville, Ky.; it requires a $500 minimum deposit.

    All of these rates except MetLife’s and E-Loan’s have dropped: Doral Bank Direct’s is now 1.00% APY; Nexity’s, 1.27%; Aurora’s, 1.21%; and Ascencia’s, 1.16%.
