Membership qualifications are fully outlined on the website, but the credit union is basically open to employees of Bayer Corp. and their family members, as well as those who live, work or worship in Belmont and Licking counties, Ohio; Berkley and Charleston counties, S.C.; and Marshall County, W.V.

Membership requires a $5 share deposit and can be applied for online.

Members can buy CDs over the phone or at a branch. Bayer Heritage has locations in Pittsburgh; Goose Creek and Ladson, S.C.; Baytown, Texas; and Moundsville, New Martinsville and Proctor, W.V.
