Posted On: 2/06/2008I had my money (savings and CDs) with virtual bank for two years. Setup and transfers were easy and quick. Customer service was convenient (online with a personal banker) and fast. I only moved my money because their rates dropped quite a bit. As soon as they go back up, I’m going back to them.
Posted On: 1/17/2008I’ve been with VirtualBank ever since it was Lydian Bank, and I’ve always had a great experience.
You get your own personal banker who you can call to ask questions and handle account transfers.
The interest rates are great, and I can transfer to my Bank of America checking account usually within 1 or 2 days.
They are WAY better than the better-known banks like ING, who spend their $$ on advertising instead of building a solid business.

Posted On: 10/02/2007Ive used them for a few years now – money in and out no problem. The apy stays fairly stable and they have a good, secure system. I would like an extra half point though.
Posted On: 10/01/2007Ive been using VirtualBank for about a year now, and theyve been great! Very friendly customer service for when I forgot my password. Their interface online is pretty good, although I wish it was easier to navigate older transactions because the monthly statements are in adobe reader form. I may switch to another money market, like AmTrust Direct, because of their competitive rate and a couple of my friends use them and love it.
Posted On: 8/17/2007Ive done business with Virtual Bank for over three years. Both CD and MM account. Decent rates, and interface is good, easy transfers, and if necessary phone calls are promptly answered. Bank gets a ten from me, now if Countrywide can only hang in there! LOL
