Here’s another investment that pays 3.00% APY. And considering today’s economic environment, this is a great-paying deal.

ADB Bank, is offering a 3.00% APY on Direct Wealth Money Market accounts with a minimum deposit of only $1.

To sweeten the deal, the terms that come with the account are laced with words like “free” and “no,” as in free bill paying and no monthly service charge.

Direct Wealth allows up to six, free withdrawals a month, of which three may be by check.

You earn double the national average for money market accounts and this deal is available to residents of all 50 states.

Allegiance Direct of Cedar City, Utah, began life financing commercial insurance premiums and its primary business is still lending and managing deposits for insurance agents.

Although it’s online bank is just four years old, ADB has earned three out of five stars from Bankrate’s “Safe & Sound” rating system and your account is FDIC insured up to $250,000.

    Thanks for bringing this deal to our attention. You should be careful in chasing Money Market Account yields, since they could be changed LOWER at any moment.

    i spoke to an ADB rep this morning, and she mentioned ADB will be lowering its APY to 2.85% this wednesday. it’s still a respectable rate, considering there are no maintenance fees or dollar minimums associated with the account.

    Redneck bank (yes that is their name) http://www.redneckbank.com is offering a 3.1% apy MMA as of 3/21. Sound’s great if it is for real.
