But you have to be a member of Justice Federal Credit Union (www.jfcu.org) to purchase these certificates of deposit.

Membership is extended to individuals in various justice, Homeland Security and law enforcement communities. An extensive list of eligible groups is on the website.

Members can buy CDs online, over the phone, by fax or mail, or at one of the credit union’s branches in Arlington, Chantilly and Quantico, Va.; Clarksburg, W.V.; Houston; Los Angeles; New York City; San Diego; and Washington, D.C.
