5-Year CD Pays 2.15% In Philadelphia

Ukrainian Selfreliance Federal Credit Union, which serves the Ukrainian community in the Philadelphia area, is one such credit union and currently pays 2.15% APY for 60-month CDs with a $500 minimum deposit.

That beats the top nationally available 60-month CD rate on our CD Rates Leaderboard by a tenth of a percentage point.

You have to be a member of Ukrainian Selfreliance Federal Credit Union to purchase these certificates of deposit.

Membership is only open to members of the Ukrainian Selfreliance Association; former members of Ukrainian Credit Union in Scranton; students, faculty and staff of Manor College, a Catholic college in the Philadelphia suburb of Jenkintown with a Ukrainian Heritage Studies Center; employees, staff and members of the Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center, also in Jenkintown; members and employees of the Word of Life Church in Feasterville, Pa.; and members of the Evangelical Pentecostal Church in Huntington Valley, Pa.

Membership requires a $5 membership fee and a $50 deposit in a share savings account.

Members have to buy CDs in person. There are three branches in Philadelphia as well as locations in Jenkintown and in Trenton, N.J.
