LaSalle Bank is offering a $100 sign-up bonus to new customers who open a free checking and savings account. There are a few requirements to get the bonus.

  • Deposit at least $250 into your checking account.
  • Deposit at least $100 into your savings account.
  • Use your LaSalle Bank debit card once within 60 days.

Once the requirements are met, LaSalle Bank will credit your account with $100 within 3 to 4 months.

Effective 10/12/07, the Annual Percentage Yields (APYs) for the Checking with Interest Account were .15% (balances of $0.01 to $2,499.99), .25% (balances of $2,500 to $24,999.99), .30% (balances of $25,000 and over). Effective 10/12/07, the APYs for the Select Services Checking Account were .20% (balances of $0.01 to $2,499.99), .35% (balances of $2,500 to $24,999.99), .40% (balances of $25,000 and over). As of 10/12/07, the annual percentage yield for a Statement Savings Account was 0.35%. The interest rates and APYs are variable and may change after the account is opened.

There is a $5/month fee if the balance in either your checking account drops below $250. Same goes for the savings account, but the fee for the savings account is waived for the first 6 months.

    It worked fine….no problem. It’s a debit card not a credit card so no hard pull. Easy money

    Bank of America actively markets their banking products to ILLEGAL MEXICAN ALIENS. They no longer require proof-of-citizenship to receive banking services.

    Do you want to do business with those who promote and encourage illegal immigration? I don’t!

    AVOID LASALLE BANK CHICAGO-
    They do not honor their promotions and will close your account if they detect other checking accounts opened through Chexsystems.
    Outrageous behavior towards good faith customers.
    Elmhurst IL branch Manager “Chris Jordan” dishonest and uncooperative.
    Will never do business with them again!

    Screw LaSalle and their hundred ! Bank of america , chase and a few others will give you the 100 in 1 week with just 100 deposited in your account and direct deposit ! LaSalle ripped me off several times and then I burned them !

    Oh They are supporting the fringgin illegals ! Well I will withdraw my money from bank of america too ! I already found out that LaSalle is a bunch of loser assholes and don’t do business with them ! I would do anything to cost them money like they cost me and drive them out of town !

    I had a similar issue with LaSalle not honoring their promos. They will likely contend you failed to abide by some condition that isn’t even on the promotion website (kind of an invisible fine print). Even providing a copy of the promo page doesn’t prompt them to honor it. I would advise to avoid them completely.

    never mind, i guess they did credit me with the $100. their phone support reps were pretty nice too, so i have nothing bad to say, and a couple good things to say about lasalle.

    I haven’t received any money. When I called they said I should have opened both checking and savings accounts on the same day *and* I should have used the debit card as both a debit and a credit card. I said these were’t stated condition of the promotion and they said they’d investigate and let me know.

    They are the worst. I have not received my money. They say they
    can’t find the use of the debit card on the the Bank of America system.

    I see the keep the change transfer that tells me there was a credit transaction.
