    My local WaMu (Avenue J and Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn) is only offering a 5.0 rate for any CD. Is there another nearby Brooklyn WaMu that does offer the 6.0 at this time (11/24/06)?

    BTW, I believe Addison Avenue’s HIGHEST CD interest rate is for their SHORTEST length CD term. Last I checked, 5.30% for 3-month CD. I thought the longer the term, the higher the rate?
