    Earn unlimited cash rewards on all purchases. Earn a full 5% Cashback Bonus on your first $1,200 in annual gas and auto maintenance purchases. In addition, earn a full 1% on all other purchases after your total annual purchases (including gas and auto maintenance) exceed $3,000; other purchases that are part of your first $1,500 earn .25% and other purchases that are part of your second $1,500 earn .50%. Combined gas and auto maintenance purchases in excess of $1,200 earn Cashback Bonus at the same rate as other purchases.

    I suggest another card, the AMEX Simply Cash Small Business Card. This card gives you 5% rebate on gas and cell phone bill, unlimited. Granted, this is a business card, but you can apply using sole proprietorship status. For business CC, you also do not get some of the customer protection thru the CC Co. Another choice is the Aventa bank small business card. Study the fine prints on that one though, it’s kinda tricky.

    They called me to offer me this card. (5% on their program, 1% on all other) I kept asking if there is any “requirement” of this kind of annual purchase or ladder of 0.25%, 0.5%, 1% cash back. They said no. So I will find out after they send me the card and the terms and conditions to confirm this.

    Sorry, the 5.40 rate at WAMU is no longer good. Best they have is 5.13 for 8 month CD. This new si two weeks old,Where are you getting your info!

    I have this card. There is an update to $1200/year limit: the same yearly limit exists, but it’s now broken down to $100/month. So, you can’t buy (for example) $200 worth of gas for 6 months then switch to another card for the rest of the year. You now get 5% cash back on only the first $100 each month.
