amtrust direct still has one of the highest cd rates out there… plus they are a reputable bank
The risks here are pretty apparent. The terms only slightly less so. Depending on what how much money you could invest, and how much risk it poses to you personally, this could be a rewarding venture. But it would literally be a venture, as this appears to be a very young company.
I do like the idea of more opportunities to invest with private lenders, and from what I can tell, this is exactly that. One thing is sure, they’ve got better rates than any of the CD’s you might find on the net.
AMTrust Direct is a nightmare to deal with if you want your money back when the CD matures.
